Technical Service Engineer

About the job

The client is a technical specialist in maintenance, inspections, repairs and technical service for industrial customers. As a technical service engineer, you work independently at different customer sites in the region. You carry out scheduled maintenance, fix breakdowns and make sure installations run safely and reliably. You get a fully equipped service van.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive maintenance on technical installations
• Find and fix mechanical and electrotechnical faults
• Perform inspections and safety checks
• Do repairs and replace parts
• Write service reports and document your work
• Advise customers on maintenance and technical improvements
• Plan and carry out your own work at customer sites
• Make sure all work is done safely and professionally

What we ask

• Technical background at MBO level
• Experience as a service engineer, field technician, maintenance worker or breakdown technician
• Knowledge of electrotechnics and/or mechanics
• You work independently and focus on solutions
• Good communication skills
• Category B driving licence
• Willing to keep developing yourself in a technical field

Candidates with less experience but a clear technical aptitude are also welcome.

• Salary from €3,000 to €4,000 gross per month
