Service Technician

About the job

You travel around the area and visit customers at home. The work is not just technical. You are the face of the organisation. You listen to customers and find the right solutions. Your work helps people take part in daily life independently.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair assistive equipment at customers' homes
• Carry out technical checks and inspections
• Fix faults and breakdowns
• Adjust equipment to fit the needs and wishes of the user
• Record completed work and parts used in digital systems
• Explain how to use equipment and give advice
• Report ideas for improvements and better service
• Take part in on-call emergency shifts according to a set schedule

What we ask

• Experience as a service technician, field technician, or in a similar technical role
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrotechnical systems
• A customer-focused approach and attention to quality
• A practical, solution-focused way of working
• A sense of responsibility and care for quality
• Good communication skills
• Category B driving licence

What we offer

• Salary from €2,937 to €3,658 gross per month
• Fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment
• Working week of 32 to 38 hours, depending on your preference
• 24 holiday days and 13 ADV days (extra days off as part of a reduced working hours arrangement) based on a 40-hour week
• A good pension plan through PMT, with the employer covering two thirds of the contribution
• 5 May off every year and an on-call bonus of €200 net
• Pay based on equal treatment: your employment conditions match those of staff employed directly by the opdrachtgever (the client company). This covers the hourly rate, days off, allowances, ADV pay, and other pay components
