Forklift Service Mechanic

About the job

You work as a service mechanic for forklifts and other internal transport equipment. You travel to customers independently in a fully equipped company van.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair forklifts, high-rack stackers and mobile elevated work platforms
• Diagnose and fix faults directly at the customer's location
• Work on diesel, gas and electric machines
• Carry out inspections and safety checks
• Advise customers on how to use and maintain their equipment

What we ask

• Technical experience as a mechanic, for example in agriculture, automotive or internal transport
• Category B driving licence
• Willingness to obtain a VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certification for working in high-risk environments)

What we offer

• Salary from €2,750 to €3,250 gross per month, depending on experience
• 25 days of leave and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a mandatory annual bonus) under the Metaal en Techniek CAO (collective labour agreement)
