About the job

The client works on industrial installations: building new ones and relocating, maintaining, upgrading and restarting existing mechanical installations. Work takes place both in the workshop and at customer sites in the Netherlands and abroad. Projects include silos, tanks, separators, conveyor systems, production machinery, grinding installations, steel structures, pipelines and supporting structures.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Carry out work independently based on drawings and work instructions
• Assemble and manufacture steel structures
• Process metal: sawing, drilling, grinding and fitting according to drawings
• Check dimensions and quality of finished parts
• Actively contribute to improving the production process
• Carry out horizontal and vertical transport work on site
• Follow site safety rules; lifting plans are prepared in advance

What we ask

• Proven experience as a structural steel fitter
• Good technical and spatial understanding of metalworking
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings independently
• Able to work independently with care and quality, and to work as part of a team
• Flexible and positive attitude towards work
• Willing to work on projects outside the workshop

• Salary from €2,800 to €3,300 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience
