Structural Metal Worker

About the job

You work as a structural metal worker on heavy steel structures and custom technical projects. Every day you work on different structures for various industrial uses. You work with modern machines and experienced colleagues.

What you'll do

• Assemble and fit steel structures based on technical drawings
• Tack weld and prepare structural parts for the welding department
• Check dimensions, fit and quality during production
• Process steel by sawing, drilling, pressing, rolling and cutting
• Work with different steel grades, including S235, S355 and high-grade structural steel

What we ask

• A completed relevant education in structural metalwork, metal engineering or similar
• Experience assembling steel structures
• Good understanding of technical drawings and dimensions
• Experience with lifting equipment and working on larger structures is a plus
• Accurate work and attention to quality
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) or willingness to obtain one

• Salary from €3,000 to €4,200 gross per month, depending on experience
