Structural Fitter / Welder

About the job

You work as a structural fitter and welder. You process and assemble metal structures. You work independently, based on technical drawings, and make sure the work meets the client's requirements.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Prepare and assemble structures and components according to precise guidelines
• Weld different materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminium) using MIG/MAG, TIG and stick welding
• Check the quality of welded structures and make corrections where needed
• Keep your workspace clean, tidy and safe, and take care of equipment and tools

What we ask

• Experience with MIG/MAG, TIG or stick welding
• Ability to work independently from technical drawings
• Accuracy and attention to quality
