Structural metalworker – steel, stainless steel, aluminium

About the job

As a structural metalworker, you make and assemble custom constructions and products. You work with steel, stainless steel and aluminium, using different techniques and machines. Every day is different because of the variety of tasks and projects.

You work at an opdrachtgever (client company), a family business that makes smaller steel constructions, stairs, fences and decorative elements. The lines of communication are short, the atmosphere is informal, and there is room for your own initiative and development.

What you'll do

• Make and assemble custom constructions and products
• Work with steel, stainless steel and aluminium
• Cut, saw, drill, punch and bend materials
• Assemble products based on technical drawings
• Keep an eye on the quality of the end result

What we ask

• Experience reading technical drawings
• Experience with MIG/MAG and TIG welding
• Technical insight and spatial awareness
• A flexible attitude, not a strict nine-to-five mindset
• VCA Basis certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for the workplace), or willingness to obtain it

What we offer

• Salary from €2,466.56 to €3,400.00 gross per month
• Travel cost reimbursement
• Opportunity to obtain your VCA Basis certificate
