MIG/MAG Welder

About the job

The client makes high-quality steel structures for infrastructure and industrial use in the north of the Netherlands, including steel construction, metalwork and shipbuilding. Are you looking for a job with good pay, a lot of independence and a chance of a permanent contract? This is a role for an experienced welder who cares about quality.

What you'll do

• Weld steel structures using MIG/MAG methods
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Assemble components based on technical documentation
• Check dimensions and weld quality
• Work with colleagues in the production and assembly department
• Follow health and safety rules and quality standards

What we ask

• Experience in MIG/MAG welding 135, 136 or 138
• Experience in metalwork or steel construction
• Knowledge of welding procedures and quality standards
• Ability to read technical drawings
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) or willingness to obtain one

What we offer

• Gross salary from €3,000 to €4,500 per month
• Possibility of a permanent contract
• Day shift
• Holiday days in line with the Metalektro CAO (CAO: collective labour agreement for the metal and electrical engineering sector)
• Good pension plan
