MIG/MAG Welder

About the job

We are looking for an experienced MIG/MAG welder to work in Veghel, at one of the largest international organisations in the logistics industry. You work with modern equipment on components for clients such as Hong Kong International Airport and UPS.

What you'll do

• Weld carbon steel parts (pre-cut and pre-bent) based on technical drawings
• Occasionally work with stainless steel (RVS) materials
• Set up welding equipment independently
• Prepare, assemble and weld components
• Check quality and report any deviations
• Support less experienced colleagues
• Use modern welding tables and equipment

What we ask

• At least 3 years of experience as a MIG/MAG welder
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Independent and precise way of working
• Willingness to share knowledge with colleagues

What we offer

• Hourly rate from €15.96 to €22.20 gross, depending on experience
• Weekly pay
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, paid on top of your wage)
• 120% shift supplement
• 130% supplement for overtime on weekdays and weekends
• 160% supplement for work on public holidays, Saturdays after 14:00 and Sundays
• Work clothing and personal protective equipment
• Full-time work with the prospect of a permanent contract
• On evening shifts: a hot meal provided by the employer

Working hours

Work is in a two-shift system:

• Morning shift: 07:00 to 16:30
• Evening shift: 16:15 to 23:20
