TIG Welder

About the job

As a TIG welder, you will work on high-quality stainless steel structures and process installations for various technical projects. The client specialises in designing, producing and installing stainless steel equipment and complete process installations, such as tanks, walkways and custom solutions for customers in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The team has around 100 people and works on projects across the Netherlands.

What you'll do

• Carry out TIG welding and assembly work (fit-up) independently
• Work on stainless steel structures and process installations
• Read and work from technical drawings
• Assemble installations accurately according to documentation
• Work both independently and together with other team members
• Maintain the highest quality on every product and component
• Take part in complex technical projects

What we ask

• Relevant work experience in a similar technical role
• A valid (VOL-)VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working conditions) or willingness to obtain one
• A proactive attitude, flexibility and a willingness to work
• A category B driving licence and your own transport

What we offer

• Salary from €2,700 to €3,200 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience
• 32 to 40 hours per week
• 25 days of annual leave and 14 ATV days (ATV are extra days off agreed in the Dutch CAO, the collective labour agreement)
