Leaf spring specialist / blanking press operator

About the job

The client specialises in making technical springs and custom wire products. You work independently to produce leaf springs and process steel strip, using technical drawings. You make sure every product meets the highest quality standards.

What you'll do

• Cut steel strip to size
• Set up, change over and operate an eccentric press
• Set up and operate a punching machine
• Set up, change over and operate bending dies for steel strip
• Produce leaf springs independently, working from technical drawings
• Check the quality and dimensions of finished products
• Make, maintain and modify tools when needed

What we ask

• Technical thinking, accuracy and attention to quality
• Ability to read technical drawings and turn them into practice on your own
• Experience with measuring and quality checks
• Experience with dies and presses in sheet metal work, or similar experience in the metal industry
• Willingness to learn and openness to new techniques and skills

What we offer

• Salary from €2,800 to €3,400 gross per month, depending on knowledge, experience and commitment
• Day shifts
• Good employment conditions under the applicable CAO (Dutch collective labour agreement)
