Construction Carpenter

About the job

We are looking for an experienced construction carpenter for a permanent position on renovation and maintenance projects in the Zaandam area. You work on a variety of residential construction projects and carry out carpentry work to a high standard every day.

What you'll do

• Carry out carpentry work as part of renovation and maintenance projects
• Complete service work and tenant-changeover work
• Install and replace doors, windows, frames and finishing carpentry
• Carry out repair work in occupied buildings
• Work independently based on technical drawings and work orders
• Contact with tenants and colleagues on site
• Keep work areas tidy and maintain quality standards

What we ask

• Proven experience as a construction carpenter
• Experience in property maintenance, renovation or service work is a plus
• Category B driving licence
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction workers), or willingness to obtain one
• Able to work independently and think in solutions
• Professional attitude and customer-focused approach
• Good command of Dutch
