General Construction Carpenter

About the job

You work as an all-round carpenter on renovation and commercial projects in and around Almelo. You carry out carpentry work on your own and together with colleagues in offices, government buildings, schools and industrial facilities. Every job is different. You assess the best approach yourself and make sure the work is done carefully and professionally.

What you'll do

• Carry out a wide range of carpentry work on renovations and new construction
• Work on commercial projects of different sizes and levels of complexity
• Find practical solutions based on the situation on site
• Coordinate work with colleagues and other parties involved
• Keep an eye on quality, progress and tidiness on site

What we ask

• Experience as an all-round construction carpenter (3 to 5 years preferred)
• Practical knowledge of renovation, maintenance or commercial construction
• Ability to read and work from construction drawings and work instructions
• You work safely, carefully and with attention to a solid end result
• You are a team player, you communicate clearly and you work well with others
• You live in the Netherlands and have the right to work in the Netherlands (no visa or residence permit sponsorship)

What we offer

• Guaranteed gross pay of €3,032.00 to €3,804.80 per 4-week period (based on 40 hours per week), depending on knowledge, level and experience
• Performance bonus every pay period, depending on experience
• Permanent employment budget of 4.51% under the CAO Bouw & Infra (CAO is a Dutch collective labour agreement that sets pay and conditions for a sector)
• 48 days of leave per year under the CAO Bouw & Infra (18 days are paid into the Tijdspaarfonds, a Dutch savings fund for time off)
