## About the job
You work for a specialist construction company in North Holland. The work is about renovation projects: preserving, restoring and repairing historic wooden elements in listed buildings and characteristic canal houses. Every project is different. You use traditional carpentry techniques alongside modern methods.
## What you'll do
- Carry out carpentry work on renovation and restoration projects
- Restore and repair historic wooden structures and elements
- Repair, replace and renew window frames, doors, windows and other wooden parts
- Work on listed buildings, canal houses and other historic structures
- Read construction and working drawings and follow restoration plans
- Apply traditional carpentry techniques and materials
- Work independently to measure and finish details precisely
- Consult with the site manager and colleagues on the best approach
## What we ask
- Completed vocational training (MBO level) in carpentry, construction or restoration
- A few years of experience as a carpenter
- Experience in restoration, renovation or conservation is a strong plus
- Experience with traditional carpentry techniques is a plus
- Valid VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for construction work), or willingness to obtain one
- Category B driving licence
- You work independently, accurately and look for practical solutions
- You pay attention to quality and finishing details

- Salary from €3,300 to €3,900 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience
