Service Technician Alarm and Fire Safety Systems

About the job

You work as a service and maintenance technician for alarm systems, fire safety systems, and evacuation systems. You work independently at different locations, such as offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and government buildings.

What you'll do

• You carry out planned maintenance inspections of alarm and fire safety installations
• You find and fix faults in security systems
• You check and test installations after completing work
• You repair and replace damaged parts
• You record the work you do and advise clients on the condition of their installations
• You take part in emergency standby shifts according to the schedule

What we ask

• Experience servicing alarm systems, fire safety systems, or security systems
• Knowledge of current rules and standards for safety installations
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certification for working on job sites), or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to obtain a Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG), a certificate of good conduct issued by the Dutch government
• You work independently and carefully
