About the job
You work on complex technical problems. As an experienced specialist, you are a point of reference for less experienced colleagues. - Carry out technical inspections based on work orders and job descriptions.
- Diagnose faults and report them in the designated systems.
- Carry out repairs in consultation with internal specialists (MBN and PSC).
- Advise on whether to take rolling stock out of service or keep it running, based on guidelines and your own judgement.
- Signal operational problems and take action in response.
- Gather and interpret information from diagrams, manuals and technical drawings to determine the nature of a fault and the scope of the repair.
- Instruct and supervise assistant mechanics and apprentice mechanics, and check that they carry out their tasks correctly.
What we ask
- A completed mbo level 3 qualification in service and maintenance technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering (required). Candidates with a technical mbo level 3 diploma or higher are also welcome to apply.
