Breakdown Technician

About the job

As a breakdown technician in Rotterdam, you work in a production environment as part of an international team. You get a solid onboarding and support, so you can quickly work independently. You directly help keep the machinery running without interruption.

What you'll do

• An experienced colleague guides you through all tasks during onboarding
• You fix breakdowns on installations and machines independently
• You carry out proper maintenance on machines and equipment
• You make sure the machinery keeps running without stops
• Together with the team, you look for ways to make processes and procedures as stable as possible
• You take part in projects aimed at improving the machinery

What we ask

• A relevant MBO (Dutch vocational) qualification in electrical engineering or a related field
• Dutch language skills and basic English
• Preference for candidates living in Rotterdam or close by
• Willingness to be available outside working hours when urgent breakdowns occur
• Good knowledge of hygiene and safety standards, or a willingness to learn them

What we offer

• Salary from €2,900 to €4,100 gross per month, depending on age and experience
• Work in an international team where colleagues teach you the trade and provide onboarding and support
• Work clothing, personal protective equipment, and a personal locker
• Vakantiegeld (Dutch holiday allowance) of 8%
• 25 days of holiday per year on a full-time contract
