DVM Technician

About the job

As a DVM Technician, you work with Dynamic Traffic Management (DVM) systems. You make sure the technical installations along and above roads keep working reliably. You work with traffic signals, detection systems, variable message signs, and other installations that keep traffic safe and moving.

What you'll do

• Maintain and inspect DVM installations
• Find and fix technical faults
• Test and commission road systems
• Work with variable message signs, detection systems, and other road installations
• Read and use technical documentation and diagrams
• Carry out measurements and checks
• Record completed work and observations
• Work together with fitters, other technicians, and others involved in a project
• Make sure installations work safely and in line with current regulations

What we ask

• MBO (vocational education) level 3 or 4, preferably in electrical engineering
• Experience with electrotechnical installations or similar technology
• Interest in road systems and roadside technology
• A practical and independent way of working
• Category B driving licence
• Willingness to obtain additional permits and certificates if needed
