E&I Technician – Day Shift – Chemical Industry
About the job
You work as an E&I technician at a chemical production site in Farmsum. You are responsible for electrical, instrumentation, and measurement and control systems. These systems are essential for a safe and reliable production process.
You work on complex technical issues, carry out maintenance, and contribute to improvements that increase availability and safety. You work the day shift and have a lot of independence.
You make sure processes run safely and reliably. You do not just solve technical problems. You also look at the root cause and find ways to prevent breakdowns in the long term. This gives you direct influence on the production process.
What you'll do
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on E&I installations
- Analyse and resolve electrical and instrumentation faults
- Work on measurement and control systems
- Check, test, and calibrate measuring equipment
- Carry out technical modifications and improvements
- Work with control systems, sensors, transmitters, and control valves
- Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and documentation
- Provide support during maintenance shutdowns and technical projects
- Think along about improvements to safety, reliability, and availability of installations
What we ask
We are looking for an experienced E&I technician who enjoys working with complex technical installations and takes responsibility for their area.
We ask for
- A completed mbo-3 or mbo-4 (Dutch vocational education) qualification in electrical engineering, industrial automation, measurement and control technology, or a related field
- Experience as an E&I fitter, E&I technician, or maintenance technician in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of electrical engineering, instrumentation, and control technology
- Experience with fault analysis, maintenance, and technical improvements
- An independent and solution-focused way of working
- A strong focus on safety and quality
Experience in the chemical, process, or a similar technical industry is a plus.
