Electrical Panel Assembly Technician
About the job
As an electrical panel assembly technician, you help build high-quality switchboards and electrical cabinets. These must meet strict quality and safety standards. You work closely with the engineering team. You make sure every panel is assembled and wired carefully, following the technical documentation. You know how to read electrotechnical diagrams and you are familiar with Dutch standards NEN1010 and NEN3140 (Dutch safety standards for low-voltage electrical installations and working on or near electrical systems). This knowledge helps you solve technical problems and keep the quality and safety of the products at the right level.
What you'll do
- Assemble and wire electrical switchboards on your own, following technical drawings and specifications.
- Carry out tests to check that panels meet the required quality standards.
- Find and fix faults during the assembly process.
- Work with the engineering team to solve technical problems and make improvements.
- Follow the applicable safety and quality standards, including NEN1010 and NEN3140.
What we ask
- A completed technical education at MBO 4 level (Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a higher vocational certificate) in electrical engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as an electrical cabinet assembler in industry.
- Knowledge of electrotechnical diagrams, technical drawings, and standards (NEN1010, NEN3140).
- You work independently, you pay attention to quality, and you communicate well in a team.
- Experience with diagnosing and fixing technical faults, and with carrying out test work.
What we offer
- Salary between €2,500 and €3,800 gross per month.
