Security Systems Technician

About the job

As a security systems technician, you make sure security installations work reliably and properly. You work on different projects, both on your own and with colleagues. From installation and programming to maintenance and fixing faults.

What you'll do

• Install burglar alarm systems, CCTV and access control
• Program, configure and commission systems
• Carry out service and maintenance work
• Check that installations meet current standards and regulations
• Work with computers, IP networks and security technology
• Help customers with technical questions and offer suitable solutions
• Take part in emergency standby shifts after your onboarding period
• Organise and plan your own work independently
• Make sure security systems work safely, reliably and correctly

What we ask

• At least MBO level 2 (Dutch vocational qualification), preferably with an MBV and/or TBV certificate (Dutch security industry certifications)
• Knowledge of computers and IP networks
• Experience installing and maintaining security systems
• Ability to analyse technical problems and find solutions on your own
• Customer-focused with clear communication
• Willing to do emergency standby shifts outside office hours

What we offer

• Salary from €3,000 gross per month, depending on experience
• Temporary contract with a view to permanent employment
• Minimum 32 hours per week, full-time possible
