About the job
As an EMRA Technician you are responsible for troubleshooting and carrying out corrective repairs on electrical, measurement, control and automation systems in a complex process environment.
You work in a large production process where paper machines, power supply, water treatment plants and biomass installations are fully connected. From sensors and transmitters to frequency converters, PLC controllers and DCS systems: you make sure everything runs safely and reliably.
You are part of the breakdown service in a continuous 5-shift rotation and constantly switch between troubleshooting, analysing, measuring, testing and improving.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot electrical and process automation systems
- Work with measurement and control technology such as pressure, flow, level and temperature measurements
- Carry out corrective repairs on DCS- and PLC-controlled systems
- Analyse faults in Siemens S7 and PCS7 systems
- Measure components, motors, frequency converters and control cabinets
- Carry out E&I inspections and report deviations
- Support modifications and improvements to installations and control systems
- Record production deviations, faults and maintenance work
- Work together with operators, maintenance and process engineering
- Carry out minor mechanical work when needed
- Contribute to improving reliability, safety and availability of installations

What we ask
You are an E&I/EMRA technician who gets energy from troubleshooting, automation and complex process installations.
You also have
- A completed mbo 4 (Dutch secondary vocational education, level 4) qualification in one of the following:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- TBI
- Industrial Automation
- At least 3 years of experience in an industrial or process-technical environment
- Experience with measurement and control technology
- Knowledge of DCS and PLC systems such as Siemens S7 and PCS7
- Experience with frequency converters, motors and control technology
- A technical mindset and an analytical approach to troubleshooting
- Willingness to carry out minor mechanical work
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Willingness to follow additional industry training
- Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation
