Building Services Technician

About the job

You work on the service and maintenance of building installations at various locations near Schiphol. You are the main technical contact for clients and work with your team to fix faults and improve installations.

What you'll do

• You carry out preventive and corrective inspections of building installations
• You diagnose and fix faults and take part in on-call service shifts
• You read and analyse electrical diagrams, building management systems (BMS) and measurement and control technology
• You carry out inspections and support compliance checks against NEN standards (Dutch technical standards)
• You spot opportunities for improvement and give feedback to clients

What we ask

• At least 3 years of experience as a service technician, installer or similar role in building installations (electrical or mechanical)
• Knowledge of building management systems, communication protocols and diagram analysis
• Category B driving licence and willingness to take part in on-call service shifts

Employment conditions

• Salary: €3,400 – €4,800 gross per month
• Company car
• 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days (ADV: extra days off as part of a Dutch working hours arrangement)
