Rehabilitation Equipment Service Technician

About the job

As a service technician at a new branch in Wormerveer, you prepare, repair, maintain and adapt rehabilitation equipment such as mobility scooters, wheelchairs and bicycles. You make sure the equipment is in good technical and visual condition so it works well for the people who use it.

What you'll do

• Check equipment coming in for service and carry out any repairs or modifications needed
• Prepare rehabilitation equipment for delivery to customers (inspection, adjustments, cleaning)
• Work closely with colleagues to find the best technical solutions
• Take part in a 24-hour service on-call rota once a week so customers always have access to support

What we ask

• Technical education at MBO level (Dutch secondary vocational qualification) or comparable hands-on experience (a plus)
• Experience in a similar role or as a mechanic is a plus
• Category B driving licence
• Interest in technology and a focus on good customer service
• Willingness to complete a training programme

What we offer

• Full-time, 40 hours a week
• Salary from €2,600 to €3,600 gross per month, with the possibility to grow to €3,796
• On-call allowance: €185 per on-call week, plus an extra allowance for hours worked during that on-call period
• 30 days of annual leave
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid once a year on top of your salary)
• 4% year-end bonus (eindejaarsuitkering)
• Employer covers 60% of your pension contribution
• Training programme leading to the title of all-round service technician
