Maintenance Technician

About the job

You work in the technical department of a modern factory. You keep machines and production lines running. You carry out inspections, fix breakdowns, and take part in technical projects.

What you'll do

• Preventive maintenance inspections of machines and equipment (50% of working time)
• Fixing technical faults and breakdowns (30% of working time)
• Taking part in technical department projects, including the construction of a new welding line (10%)
• Attending team meetings and work briefings (5%)
• Keeping records of work orders and materials (5%)

What we ask

• Technical experience in maintenance or a related field (mechanics, electrical engineering, or automation)
• Available for at least 32 hours per week
• Good command of Dutch, spoken and written
• Category B driving licence (you travel to work by your own transport)
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
• Willingness to complete electrical engineering courses

Conditions

• Salary up to €25.38 gross per hour (based on full-time hours)
• Contract for 32 to 40 hours per week
• 27 days of annual leave plus 13 ADV days (ADV: scheduled days off as part of a shorter working week arrangement under Dutch CAO, the collective labour agreement)
• Day shift: 06:30-15:15 or 08:00-16:45
• On-call emergency duty one week in every five weeks
