CNC Lathe / Milling Operator

About the job

You program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines on your own. You work from a technical drawing all the way to the finished part, keeping quality high throughout.

What you'll do

• Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines independently
• Produce single parts and small series
• Make components for new and existing machines
• Check the quality of your own work at every step of production
• Work from technical drawings, start to finish

What we ask

• Experience in machining, or a willingness to learn it
• Knowledge of CNC controls (for example Siemens, Heidenhain, Fanuc or Fagor) and the ability to read technical drawings
• Familiarity with materials, tools and measuring techniques for checking finished parts
