Sewer Layer / Ground Worker

About the job

We are looking for a worker to lay sewers and carry out groundwork in the Rotterdam area. You will work on the construction and renovation of sewer networks and underground infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Laying sewer pipes and connections
• Digging and backfilling trenches
• Preparing the ground and bedding under pipes
• Operating construction machines and hand tools
• Installing inspection chambers and drain inlets
• Compacting the ground after backfilling
• Following health and safety rules on site

What we ask

• Experience in groundwork or sewer laying
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction workers), or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to read basic construction drawings
• Good physical condition and willingness to work outside in different weather conditions
• Driving licence category B

• Pay from €15.98 to €18.95 gross per hour
