Flange fitter / industrial mechanic

About the job

You work as a flange fitter and mechanic at an industrial site in the Botlek area of Rotterdam. One fixed location. Monday to Friday, day shifts.

What you'll do

• Carry out work on pipe flanges and flange connections
• Operate a forklift and overhead crane
• Clean machines, pipelines and equipment
• Inspect and maintain frames according to a checklist
• Be on call for emergencies outside regular working hours (you receive a standby allowance of €30 gross per day)

What we ask

• Current experience as a flange fitter or industrial mechanic
• A valid VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for hazardous workplaces). You must also be willing to get certified for forklift operation, overhead crane use and safe flange work, if you don't have these yet
• Good Dutch, both spoken and written
• Ability to travel to Botlek in Rotterdam independently
