All-round carpenter

About the job

The client is a construction company in Amsterdam. They build and renovate homes and commercial buildings. Projects include new builds, renovations, maintenance, and energy upgrades. As an all-round carpenter, you work on different projects and have a lot of independence. Every day is different.

What you'll do

• Do a wide range of carpentry work on new builds, renovations, and maintenance projects
• Install windows, doors, and other building elements
• Build and fit partition walls, ceilings, and finishing work
• Do assembly, fitting, and custom work
• Work from technical drawings and check measurements
• Do repair and maintenance work
• Work with colleagues and other trades on site
• Keep your work neat, safe, and up to standard

What we ask

• At least 3 years of experience as a carpenter or construction joiner
• A relevant qualification in carpentry or construction is a plus
• Experience in new builds, renovations, and/or maintenance
• Able to work independently from technical drawings
• Good technical and construction knowledge
• Precise and solution-focused
• Reliable and you do what you say
• Can work both in a team and on your own
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction workers), or willing to get one
• Category B driving licence is a plus

What we offer

• Salary from €3,000 to €4,000 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience
• Full-time position with the prospect of a permanent contract
