All-round service mechanic / maintenance fitter

About the job

We are looking for an experienced service mechanic who can work independently. The work is mainly inspections, maintenance and repairs of technical installations and machines. Monday to Friday you work in the workshop in Heteren. During the week you also travel to clients across the Netherlands to fix breakdowns on site.

What you'll do

• Inspect and repair technical installations and machines
• Rebuild hydraulic cylinders and pumps
• Build and configure control cabinets based on technical documentation
• Diagnose and fix faults independently
• Contact with clients and suppliers
• Handle several projects and orders at the same time

What we ask

• At least MBO level 4 (Dutch vocational qualification) in a technical field
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechatronics
• Able to work independently and make decisions
• Read and understand technical documentation and drawings
• Category B driving licence
• Preferably a few years of experience in service work in an industrial setting
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for working on industrial sites) is a plus; if you do not have one, the client company can arrange it for you
• English or German is an extra advantage
