About the job

You work as an all-round diesel mechanic in the port of Rotterdam. You repair and service diesel engines in small port vessels and mobile equipment such as pumps and compressors.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair diesel engines in small vessels
• Diagnose and fix complex faults
• Work on installations such as pumps, compressors and hydraulic systems
• Carry out mechanical, hydraulic and electrotechnical work
• Perform preventive inspections to avoid breakdowns and downtime

What we ask

• Experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role
• Practical knowledge of hydraulic and electrotechnical systems
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems independently
