All-round Technical Service Mechanic

About the job

As an All-round Technical Service Mechanic, you and your team keep production machines and technical installations running. You do maintenance, fix breakdowns, and help improve technical processes. You also take part in on-call shifts, so production can continue outside normal working hours.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and installations
• Analyse and fix mechanical, electrotechnical, and control system faults
• Rebuild, replace, and adjust machine parts
• Carry out inspections and periodic checks
• Help develop technical improvements and optimise production processes
• Supervise external fitters and suppliers during maintenance work
• Record breakdowns and completed work
• Take part in on-call shifts on a rotating schedule

What we ask

• Completed vocational training (MBO, Dutch intermediate vocational education) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as an all-round mechanic, breakdown mechanic, or technical service mechanic
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Experience in electrical engineering and PLC-controlled installations is a plus
