Tank Container Fitter – Allround

About the job

You work on servicing and repairing specialist tank containers for LNG, cryogenic gases and various liquids. The work requires technical knowledge and precision. No two days are the same.

What you'll do

• Carrying out maintenance and repair work on tank containers
• Welding stainless steel and aluminium using TIG, MIG and MAG methods
• Fitting and removing valves, flanges and seals
• Carrying out pressure tests and safety checks
• Modifying and restoring container frames and fittings, finding and fixing technical faults

What we ask

• Experience with TIG, MIG or MAG welding (stainless steel or aluminium)
• Practical knowledge of mechanics or industrial hydraulics
• Able to work independently and willing to work as part of a workshop team
