General Production Operator
About the job
Do you want to work in a place where what you make directly affects people's health around the world? As a general operator, you work in a high-quality production environment where quality, safety and accuracy come first.
You are responsible for producing and packing finished products. You make sure processes run smoothly and follow strict guidelines. You work in different production areas, keep a close eye on quality and take part in improving processes.
What you'll do
- Produce and prepare finished products, including milling, sieving, classifying and packing
- Monitor, control and adjust production processes
- Carry out quality checks and record data in batch records
- Work according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice), 5S, and strict hygiene and safety guidelines
- Take part in process improvements and projects
You work closely with colleagues from production and quality. Your accuracy makes sure products are made safely and to the highest standards.
What we ask
We are looking for an operator who cares about quality and is happy to work in a professional production environment. You are careful, hands-on and like to take responsibility. You have experience in an environment where quality and procedures come first.
We also ask
- Experience as an operator in the food, pharmaceutical or chemical industry
- A completed VAPRO B course (mbo level 3, a Dutch vocational qualification for process operators) or equivalent; VAPRO A with extensive experience is also welcome
- Knowledge of GMP/GDP and experience with quality control
- A good command of Dutch and enough English for reporting purposes

We also offer
- Full-time, 36 hours per week on the day shift (Monday to Friday)
- Salary up to €3,845 per month in line with the Zuivel-CAO (CAO is a Dutch collective labour agreement that sets pay and working conditions for a sector)
- 13 ADV days (scheduled days off in lieu, a common Dutch arrangement to reduce working hours) based on a full-time week of 38 hours
- Travel cost reimbursement and good employment conditions
