Internal Logistics Worker – Forklift

About the job

You work in internal transport at a modern plant nursery in Maasdijk. You make sure all plants get to the right place at the right time, using automated transport systems.

What you'll do

• Operate a forklift for internal transport and shipping
• Work with the automated transport system
• Scan and register plants
• Move plants and cuttings inside the greenhouse
• Work with automated cultivation carts and keep the area tidy and safe

What we ask

• Experience with a forklift, or willingness to get certified for free
• Able to work independently and in a team, good at planning
• Good command of Dutch, spoken and written
• Willing to work weekends according to a set schedule

Conditions

• Salary from €2,700 to €2,900 gross per month, depending on experience
• Travel allowance: €0.23 per km
• 25 or more days of holiday plus 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay paid out once a year)
• Pension according to the CAO tuinbouw (collective labour agreement for horticulture)
• Possibility to get certificates and complete courses, including a forklift certificate
• Opportunity to grow into a logistics coordinator or team leader role
• Stable job, modern and clean workplace, team events
• Good connections from Naaldwijk, De Lier, Hoek van Holland, Vlaardingen, Schiedam, Delft and Rotterdam; parking on site
