Freelance Assembler / Technician

About the job

As a self-employed assembler (ZZP, a Dutch term for freelance/self-employed worker), you carry out various technical assignments for clients in the technical sector. You work on projects involving assembly, maintenance, repairs and general technical support. Assignments vary in scope, duration and work environment, so no two days are the same.

What you'll do

• Carry out general technical work on site.
• Support assembly, maintenance and repair activities.
• Work on site according to the schedule, work order and agreed conditions.
• Make sure work is done safely, neatly and in an organised way.
• Flag technical issues and work with others to find practical solutions.
• Complete assignments independently across a range of technical projects.

What we ask

• Proven experience in a technical field.
• Registration with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel, KvK) and a current extract.
• An active VAT number (btw-nummer).
• Business liability insurance (bedrijfsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering).
• A certificate of timely tax payments (verklaring betalingsgedrag).
• A valid VCA-VOL certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for contractors; VOL is the full version).
• Own transport and own tools.
• Own personal protective equipment (PPE).
