Allround Maintenance Technician – 5-Shift System – Food Industry

About the job

As an allround maintenance and breakdown technician, you are fully responsible for the technical condition of the production site during your shift. You work independently on a wide range of process installations, machines, and production lines. You keep them running safely and reliably. The work combines mechanics, electrical engineering, and control engineering.

What you'll do

• Manage technical installations in the production site independently
• Analyse and fix mechanical, electrical, and control engineering faults
• Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime
• Repair and overhaul machines and installations
• Develop and carry out inspection plans and maintenance schedules
• Find the root cause of recurring faults and put lasting solutions in place
• Identify and implement technical improvements and optimisations
• Work with the production department and other teams to keep the production process running smoothly

What we ask

• A completed technical education at MBO-3 level or higher (MBO is the Dutch vocational education system, roughly equivalent to a technical trade qualification), for example in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering
• Experience as an allround technician, maintenance technician, breakdown technician, or a similar role in a production or process environment
• A broad technical background and knowledge of electrical engineering, control engineering, and mechanics
• Experience with fault analysis and troubleshooting
• Ability to analyse technical problems independently and choose the right solution
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift system
• Experience in the food industry is a plus, but not required

• Gross salary of €4,585 to €6,250 per month, including a 31% shift allowance, depending on knowledge and experience
