Roofing Team Leader

## About the job

Work location: Middenmeer. You lead your own team, work on the roof yourself, and get home at a normal time. As a working team leader in roof renovations, you manage a team of around 5 tradespeople. You have freedom in how you organise the work, and you carry out renovation projects in Noord-Holland and Zuid-Holland.

## What you'll do

• Lead and supervise a team of around 5 roofers.
• Divide tasks and keep track of the daily schedule.
• Work hands-on on the renovation and maintenance of pitched roofs.
• Check the quality of the work done and make sure the whole team works safely.
• Stay in contact with clients and the office, and keep them updated on progress.
• Start the working day at 06:00 together with the team, run a short briefing, travel to the site, and at the end of the day make sure the next steps are clearly handed over.
• Option to work four days a week, in agreement with the employer.

## What we ask

• Experience with pitched roofs and solid general construction knowledge.
• Experience leading colleagues and keeping overview of a project.
• Category B driving licence.
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on construction sites), or willingness to obtain one.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

## What we offer

• Salary from €3,500 to €5,000 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.
• 20 holiday days and 12 extra days off under the cao Hellende Daken (the collective labour agreement for the pitched-roof sector).
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.25 per kilometre, and pension contributions.
• Flexibility in how you organise your work, plus training and courses paid by the employer.
