Cleaning Team Leader – Rail & Stations

About the job

You work as a team leader in specialist cleaning of railway stations and rail infrastructure in the Rotterdam area. You manage a team and also do the cleaning work yourself.

What you'll do

• Lead, support and motivate a team of cleaners
• Carry out specialist cleaning tasks such as high-pressure cleaning, deep cleaning and floor maintenance
• Plan and check the daily work schedule and divide tasks across the team
• Make sure safety rules are followed in the rail environment
• Check the quality of work done and report problems or unsafe situations

What we ask

• Experience in the cleaning industry, preferably as a specialist cleaner
• Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role
• Good command of Dutch
• Category B driving licence and your own car
• Living in or around Rotterdam
• Willing to work nights and flexible in availability (Mon-Fri, approx. 38 hours per week)
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working in high-risk environments) or willing to obtain one
• Willing to obtain rail safety certificates (DVP)
