Carpenter fire protection cladding

About the job

As a carpenter, you work with your colleagues on various projects across the Netherlands. On site, you measure, cut and install fire protection cladding and sheeting on steel structures, walls and ceilings. The work requires precision and skill, because the cladding must be installed according to current requirements.

What you'll do

• Measure and install fire protection cladding and sheeting
• Work on steel structures, walls and ceilings
• Measure, cut and fit components accurately
• Work from technical drawings
• Keep the worksite tidy at the end of each day
• Hand over completed work ready for the next phase of the project
• Work at different locations across the Netherlands, in both new construction and renovation

• Experience as a carpenter
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Accurate and quality-focused way of working
• Ability to work in a team

What we offer

• Salary: €2,900 - €3,600 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on experience
• Contract: 7-month contract, annual contract or direct employment with the client (opdrachtgever)
• Travel allowance: €0.32 per km
• Overtime and supplements: in line with the collective labour agreement for construction (cao bouw, the CAO is a sector-wide agreement on pay and conditions)
• 25 days of annual leave
• 20 ADV days (ADV is a scheme of extra days off in exchange for shorter working hours)
• Holiday pay (vakantiegeld) of 8.33%
• Construction pension contributions from day one
• Possibility to obtain certificates, including VCA (VCA is a Dutch safety certificate for working on construction sites) and other relevant qualifications
• Possibility to use a company car for travel to and from work
• Work within a maximum of 30-40 km from your home
• Work clothing and personal protective equipment provided by the client or the staffing agency (uitzendbureau)
• Flexible pay: weekly or every 4 weeks
• A dedicated contact person who handles all the paperwork
