Breakdown Electromechanic
About the job
As a Breakdown Electromechanic, you keep a modern and largely automated production process running 24 hours a day. You fix breakdowns quickly and think along about improvements to the latest production lines. You work mainly on new, high-tech lines and installations. The technical focus is shifting more and more towards electrical engineering, control technology and automation. The mechanical side of the job stays important too.
What you'll do
- Locate, analyse and fix breakdowns on your own: mechanical, electrotechnical, pneumatic and control-related.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on production machines and installations to avoid downtime.
- Work on modern production lines controlled by PLCs.
- Record completed work and breakdowns in the maintenance system (SAP).
- Inspect machines and installations.
- Identify structural technical problems and take an active role in finding improvements.
- Help with modifications, overhauls and technical improvement projects.
- Work with operators and the production team to fix breakdowns quickly and safely.
- Support the start-up of new machines and installations.
- Work with a varied range of machines, from filling lines and packaging machines to technical utilities.
- Contribute to a safe, clean and organised technical environment.
No two shifts are the same. One moment you are fixing an urgent breakdown on an advanced production line, the next you are working on a technical improvement that makes production run more efficiently.
What we ask
You are a Breakdown Electromechanic who gets energy from technology, solving complex breakdowns and continuously improving installations.
You also have
