Maintenance Electrician
About the job
The Technical Department in Winterswijk is looking for an independent maintenance electrician. The client works in the extraction, processing and distribution of industrial minerals such as silica, clay, feldspar and olivine, and plays an important role in glass recycling. They supply sectors like glass, ceramics, construction, coatings and water treatment. The company has 114 production sites in 31 countries and around 5,500 employees worldwide. In Winterswijk you work in a small technical team where cooperation comes first.
What you'll do
- Find, locate and fix electrical faults in machines, installations and building systems, together with colleagues or external parties.
- Carry out preventive maintenance checks and inspections, and report the results.
- Perform emergency repairs on electrical systems and components.
- Carry out planned electrical repairs.
- Suggest improvements and update maintenance plans and documentation in consultation with your supervisor.
You work day shifts Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, and are available to take part in emergency or standby duties. You report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
What we ask
- MBO level 3 or 4 (Dutch vocational qualification) in electrical engineering.
- VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certificate for working in industrial environments).
- Forklift operator certificate.
- Aerial work platform operator certificate.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in a similar role in a production environment is a plus.
