General Maintenance Technician

About the job

You work as a general maintenance technician in the Maintenance and Engineering department at a production facility in Zelhem. Your job is to keep production running and make sure machines and installations work properly.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive inspections and repairs on machines and installations
• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults
• Set up and adjust production and packaging lines
• Log completed work and faults in the maintenance system
• Support operators and external technicians, and share your knowledge

What we ask

• Experience in maintenance and fault-finding in a production environment
• Willingness to work day shifts and a 2-shift schedule, and to be on call for technical emergencies (about once every 4 weeks)
• Ability to work independently and to cooperate well in a team

A background in electrical engineering, refrigeration, or TIG welding is a plus.

What we offer

• Gross salary from €3,000 to €4,200 per month, excluding allowances
• Shift allowances and on-call pay in line with the CAO (Dutch collective labour agreement)
• Holiday days, vakantiegeld (holiday allowance of 8%), pension, and travel expense reimbursement in line with the CAO
