Electromechanical Troubleshooting Technician
About the job
Do you want to work with modern production installations and keep a factory running around the clock? As an all-round technician you are an important part of the technical department. You analyse breakdowns, carry out maintenance, and make sure installations run safely and reliably.
You work in a demanding production environment where you deal with mechanical, electrical, and automation issues. You don't wait for a breakdown to happen. You look ahead, spot opportunities for improvement, and actively contribute to optimising maintenance processes.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues
- Carry out preventive maintenance and technical inspections
- Analyse breakdowns and help develop lasting solutions
- Support production and work closely with the technical department
- Contribute to improvements in maintenance processes and installations
You work a 5-shift rotation and are the first point of contact on your shift for technical issues. You work closely with maintenance engineers, work planners, and fellow technicians.
What we ask
We are looking for a technically strong technician who is happy to take responsibility and thinks in solutions. You work independently, but you also actively look for input from colleagues. You care about quality and safety.
You also have
- A completed MBO (Dutch vocational qualification) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or automation and instrumentation
- Experience as a maintenance or troubleshooting technician in an industrial environment
- Experience with maintenance management systems such as SAP is a plus
- Willingness to obtain certificates such as VCA (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) and NEN3140 (Dutch standard for working safely with electrical installations), or you already hold them
What we offer
You join a technical environment where your knowledge and ideas are genuinely valued. You get plenty of freedom, responsibility, and room to grow.
You can also count on
- A full-time position in a 5-shift rotation with a suitable shift allowance
- A salary between €3,500 and €4,300 gross per month, based on scale 7 of the Zuivel CAO (Dutch collective labour agreement for the dairy industry)
- A varied technical role with a high degree of independence
- A sports and fitness contribution of €200 net per year, or a discount on a staff gym membership
- A job in a professional organisation with room for development and initiative
Depending on the position and the client, reference checks and verification of diplomas and certificates may be part of the recruitment process.
