About the job
You work as an electrician while you study. You combine practical work with a BBL (BBL is a Dutch work-and-learn programme: you work four days a week and go to school one day) course in electrical engineering. You work on projects in utilities, industry, and public administration.
What you'll do
- You follow a BBL course in electrical engineering and build your technical skills.
- You assist experienced electricians with installations and maintenance work.
- You carry out practical tasks such as laying electrical systems and cabling.
- You work with your team to find energy-efficient and modern solutions on projects.
- You work according to health and safety rules, including the VCA Basis certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certificate for working on construction and industrial sites).
What we ask
- You want to learn the electrician trade through the work-and-learn system (BBL).
- You have basic knowledge of electrical engineering, or you are interested in it.
- You have the VCA Basis certificate, or you are willing to get it.
