Electrical Installation Inspector

About the job

In this role you carry out inspections of electrical installations according to Dutch standards NEN 3140, NEN 1010, and scopes 8 and 10. You check whether installations meet the required safety requirements, identify faults and risks, write professional reports, and advise clients on the best solutions. You work for an opdrachtgever (client company) that specialises in the inspection of electrical installations at businesses and institutions. The team has around 80 employees with different specialisations, from inspectors to service engineers and project managers. Full-time position.

What you'll do

• Carry out inspections according to NEN 3140, NEN 1010, scope 8 and scope 10
• Identify faults and risks and propose suitable solutions
• Write professional inspection reports
• Advise clients and discuss inspection results with them
• Work together with colleagues from different fields
• Work with Hilti tools and a Mercedes Vito van
• Apply the latest rules and regulations

What we ask

• Completed mbo or hbo (Dutch vocational or applied-science degree) education in electrical engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the electrical installation sector
• Proven knowledge of NEN 3140, NEN 1010, scope 8 and scope 10
• Low-voltage inspector certificate, or willingness to obtain it through WerkTalent
• Client-focused with good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Good command of Dutch
