Empty handler operator

About the job

As an empty handler operator, you play an important role in the logistics process at the terminal. You make sure empty containers get to the right place, so operations run smoothly.

What you'll do

• Operate an empty handler to move and stack empty containers
• Load, unload and position containers at the terminal
• Work according to current safety rules and procedures
• Report equipment faults and technical problems

What we ask

• Proven experience operating an empty handler
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certification for working on industrial sites) or willingness to obtain one
• Category B driving licence and own transport
• Flexible and willing to work in shifts or a continuous schedule
• Good command of Dutch
