Packaging Line Supervisor

About the job

The client is a modern family business with nearly 100 years of experience making high-quality puff pastry products, such as vol-au-vents, tapas cups and sweet pastry shells. Their products are sold to customers around the world. The company works to strict international standards and certifications, including IFS and BRC.

What you'll do

• Lead, support and motivate packaging staff and temporary workers
• Assign and coordinate daily tasks in the packaging department
• Monitor quality, hygiene and food safety rules
• Track production progress and make adjustments where needed
• Spot and implement process improvements
• Consult with the team manager on planning, capacity and points for improvement

What we ask

• Experience in packaging in a production environment, preferably in the food industry
• A natural ability to lead a team and a proven track record of managing people
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate clearly and effectively
• Flexibility and willingness to work shifts, depending on seasonal demand
• Good command of Dutch, both spoken and written
