Logistics Coordinator

About the job

As a Logistics Coordinator, you keep the logistics processes running smoothly on the production floor. It is a responsible role. You manage a team and oversee the full flow of materials.

What you'll do

• You make daily work plans and you manage, instruct, and train the logistics team
• You monitor the logistics processes, make sure materials are delivered and collected on time, check that equipment and staff are available, and act when problems come up
• You are responsible for stock levels and you coordinate returns and the flow of rejected goods
• You look after safety, quality, and efficiency, and you keep looking for improvements
• You report deviations and incidents according to the procedures in place, and you work together with the Production, Engineering, and Quality departments

What we ask

• Experience in leading a team and working well with people
• Ability to plan and analyse data, and to find solutions when problems arise
• Basic knowledge of Lean and Microsoft Office, good Dutch and basic English, valid certificates (or willingness to obtain them)

What we offer

• Salary from €3,400 to €4,150 gross per month, including shift allowances
• Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• 2-shift schedule, and on Fridays you always finish early so the weekend starts sooner
