Metro Mechanic

About the job

You work in a workshop and take care of maintenance and repairs on metro trains in Amsterdam. You decide independently on repairs and report faults according to technical procedures.

What you'll do

• You carry out planned inspections and standard repairs on metro trains
• You replace parts and fix common faults
• You follow set technical procedures and make your own decisions about repairs and reporting faults

What we ask

• Technical experience (mechanical or electrical). Experience with rail vehicles is not required
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system

Extra information

• Salary: €2,582 to €3,729 gross per month
• Working hours: two shifts, 07:00-15:30 and 15:00-23:30
• Every other Friday off
• Internal training is provided, including a basic rail vehicle course and hands-on support within the team
